Network Marketing and the Power of the USP (Unique Selling Proposition)
Are you new to Network Marketing?
Have you been in a business but haven’t gotten the results you wanted?
Over the years I’ve seen very few people launch their Network Marketing business as a business. They see a presentation, they get started and immediately start to share a business they know very little about.
I’m aware of up-lines who tell people, call 10 friends right now and use the F.O.RM (family ,occupation, recreation, money) method. Although this has been effective in the past and present, it’s a very a guerrilla way of marketing your business.
What if you took a few days to come up with a “Positioning Promise”?
A positioning promise is an important part of your USP (Unique Selling Proposition). Your USP will separate you from other marketers in your company. It will also separate you from other Network Marketing companies.
How Do I Create a USP?
Here are a few questions to ask yourself and answer:
The Promise: What problem do I want to solve?
The Feature: What product/service can I solve it with?
The Benefit: How will my product/service/working with me/ benefit the prospect?
When I write a USP I like to have all the components in short sentence.
I created the Self Driven Profit System to help average people get un-average results using the Internet. My USP went something like this….
“Pocket 5 Figures Online in 90 Days of Less! Guaranteed!”
The positioning promise: A bold Guaranteed
The Feature: Do it in 90 days of less
The Benefit: Pocket 5 Figures Online
My USP sounds much better than…. “make money online!”
Everyone else is saying make money online and making very little money online. That’s funny! Take a few days, look up great USPs and start crafting your own to explode your Network Marketing company. What do you think of the topic. Leave your thought in the comments below!
